Vu Doai: Organizing a national festival to protect national security

On the occasion of the 18th anniversary of the National Security Day (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2023), on the morning of August 14, the People's Committee of Vu Doai commune organized the National Security Day 2023. This is the locality chosen by Vu Thu district as the venue for this year's festival.
Leaders of Vu Thu District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee to cadres and people of Vu Doai commune for their outstanding achievements in the movement of the whole people to protect national security.
Over the past 18 years, the movement of the entire people to protect national security in Vu Doai commune has been maintained and promoted with positive results. Thanks to the participation of cadres and people in providing information and denouncing crimes, from 2015 to present, the authorities have investigated and clarified 12 cases of crimes against social order, solved 1 case of robbery; coordinated to arrest 1 wanted subject; arrested 10 gambling cases; solved 5 cases with 5 subjects related to drugs in the area. The departments, branches, and mass organizations of the village and commune have coordinated with the police force to call, question, deter, educate and bring 15 cases to the people for review; put 5 subjects under management at the commune level; making records to send 3 subjects to drug rehabilitation centers... In particular, the movement of the whole people to protect national security in the commune is integrated with other patriotic campaigns and emulation movements such as building new rural areas, building cultural life in residential areas... contributing to ensuring security and order, promoting local socio-economic development.
Colonel Pham Dinh Tam, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, awarded the "Protecting National Security" medal to two individuals of Vu Thu district. 
Faced with the requirements of the task of protecting national security in the new period, Vu Doai continues to mobilize the active participation of Party committees and authorities; strengthen propaganda, dissemination and education of the law, creating changes in the awareness and actions of each sector, organization, cadre and people in the movement of the whole people to protect national security, fight against crime, and eliminate social evils in the area.
Folk dance performance of 11 folk dance clubs of Vu Doai commune during the festival. 
During the National Day for National Security Protection, Vu Doai commune organized folk dance performances, volleyball competitions, tug of war, martial arts performances, etc., creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, attracting the participation of many local people from all walks of life.
On this occasion, many collectives and individuals of Vu Thu district and Vu Doai commune were commended by the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Police, and the District People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in the movement of the whole people protecting national security. The leaders of the Provincial Police presented 5 gifts to soldiers and part-time police officers in difficult circumstances in Vu Thu district who have excelled in completing their tasks.
