VRG received investment certificate for nearly 500-hectare industrial park project in Tay Ninh

(NLDO) - Hiep Thanh Industrial Park Phase 1 ( Tay Ninh ) invested by VRG has a land use scale of more than 495 hectares, with a total investment capital of 2,350 billion VND.

Vietnam Rubber Industry Group (VRG) said it has just received the investment registration certificate for the project "Investment in construction and business of Hiep Thanh Industrial Park infrastructure phase 1" awarded by the Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board.

The certificate awarding ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board on the afternoon of December 9, with the participation of Mr. Truong Van Hung, Head of the Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board, and representatives of local departments and branches.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Truong Van Hung emphasized that after a period of review and research, the Hiep Thanh Industrial Park project phase 1, with VRG as the investor, meets the province's planning for the next phase. The project has now completed all procedures and is expected by the province to be put into operation soon, attracting many industries, especially high technology, creating jobs, and stabilizing the local socio-economy.

Mr. Truong Van Hung, Head of Tay Ninh Economic Zone Management Board, awarded the investment registration certificate for Hiep Thanh Industrial Park project phase 1 to VRG Deputy General Director Do Huu Phuoc.

According to Mr. Hung, VRG has been operating in Tay Ninh for many years. Moreover, the unit has a lot of experience in managing and operating industrial parks, so the granting of the investment registration certificate for the Hiep Thanh Industrial Park project, phase 1, is a good sign, demonstrating the province's trust in the Group in implementing the project. With this investment registration certificate, the leaders of the Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board hope that VRG will quickly implement the project.

Mr. Do Huu Phuoc - Member of the Board of Directors, Deputy General Director of VRG - expressed his gratitude to the departments, branches and sectors that have consistently supported the Group's member units in the past time, especially in the recent period of approving the investment policy of Hiep Thanh Industrial Park project phase 1.

According to Mr. Phuoc, investing in construction and trading in industrial park infrastructure on rubber plantation land converted for land use purposes according to local planning is one of the Group's main business lines approved by the Prime Minister . The Group is investing in and managing 15 industrial parks nationwide. The industrial parks invested and developed by VRG in recent times have achieved many positive results.

With Hiep Thanh Industrial Park being a project approved for investment in a short time, only 18 months, Mr. Phuoc emphasized that this was due to the efforts of the Group and the great support of departments and branches of Tay Ninh province.

VRG leaders said that in the coming time, in addition to rubber, the Group is committed to accompanying Tay Ninh in investing in construction and business of infrastructure, attracting human resources, diversifying industries, forming civilized and modern urban industrial zones, making this locality a destination for investors. The Group has now prepared resources, committed to implementing the progress and orientation of the province's general planning.

Hiep Thanh Industrial Park Phase 1 is located between Da Hang Hamlet and Giua Hamlet, Hiep Thanh Commune, Go Dau District. The project was approved by the Prime Minister on March 1, 2024, with VRG as the investor, with a land use scale of more than 495 hectares, total investment capital of VND 2,350 billion.

Green Industrial Park

According to the plan, the project is invested and built in the direction of green, multi-industry, clean technology and modern management. The goals of Hiep Thanh Industrial Park include attracting investment, creating jobs, promoting socio-economic development of Tay Ninh province; creating conditions for the development of supporting industries, processing industry, high-tech industry, food and beverage industry, logistics, warehouses, contributing to environmental protection, and responding to climate change.
