Nam A Bank's charter capital exceeds 13,700 billion VND

Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Nam A Bank - HoSE: NAB) has just announced the results of issuing shares under the employee stock option program (ESOP) in the company in 2024.

Accordingly, the bank distributed 50 million ESOP shares to a total of 1,351 employees. After completing the above issuance plan, the bank's charter capital increased by VND500 billion, from VND13,225 billion to VND13,725 billion.

After the issuance period is completed and the results are approved in writing by the competent State Agency, the amount of money that the employee paid in excess or not on time and other cases will be refunded to the employee in accordance with regulations.

Last September, Nam A Bank also announced the results of the first ESOP distribution. At that time, Nam A Bank had only distributed 37.5 million shares out of a total of 50 million ESOP shares to 1,351 employees.

With 12.4 million undistributed shares, the bank continues to distribute the second phase to 12 employees on the list. In this list, there are 6 people who bought 1.45 million shares. The registration and payment period for the second phase of shares is from September 24 to October 2, 2024.

On August 6, the bank also issued a resolution approving the list of employees to be allocated stock purchase rights under the employee stock option program in 2024.

The bank plans to issue 50 million ESOP shares at an offering price of VND10,000/share, an issuance ratio equivalent to 4.726% of the number of outstanding shares.

The number of ESOP shares is restricted from transfer 100% within 1 year from the end date of issuance, in the 2nd year, 50% of the remaining shares will be released.

In addition to issuing ESOP shares to increase charter capital, last July, Nam A Bank also completed issuing 264.5 million shares to increase equity capital from owner's equity for 5,336 shareholders.

The bank's charter capital thereby increased by VND2,654 billion, from VND10,580 billion to VND13,225 billion.

On the stock market, at the end of the session on October 9, NAB shares were trading at 16,200 VND/share with a trading volume of nearly 1.5 million units.

Over the past month, NAB shares have decreased by 1.82% from the reference price of VND16,500/share with an average trading volume of nearly 2.9 million units/day.
