VNPT focuses on applying new technology to create new digital products.

In 2024, VNPT will optimize resources, change more comprehensively, be more creative, research and apply more new technologies to create new digital products to help VNPT increase its competitiveness, affirming solid steps in the coming time.

On December 21, in Hanoi, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) held a Conference to Deploy the 2024 Plan. According to the report at the conference, in 2023, the Group's total revenue reached VND 54,856 billion, equal to 102.14% over the same period last year, reaching 98.2% of the plan.

The Group's total profit reached VND 4,468 billion, reaching 100.8% of the plan, equal to 100.7% over the same period in 2023; of which, the parent company's profit was VND 2,824 billion, reaching 101.4% of the plan, equal to 100.1% over the same period. VNPT paid VND 3,849 billion to the state budget, reaching 112.7% of the plan. The Group's pre-tax profit margin on equity reached 6%. VNPT always ensures 100% of jobs and stable income at a fairly good level for employees compared to the general level of state-owned corporations and groups.

VNPT's financial situation is always healthy, cash flow is managed and used effectively to promptly meet the production and business needs, basic construction investment of the Group and its units, no overdue debts arise, capital is preserved and developed.

With the strategy of becoming a technology corporation, VNPT has been focusing on developing digital infrastructure and a portfolio of special digital services through promoting cooperation with leading international partners in the field of information technology. In 2023, VNPT signed many cooperation agreements with large telecommunications and technology corporations to continuously seek new business development opportunities, while capturing technology, market and transformation trends. Multilateral cooperation activities go into depth and are applied in many of the Group's production and business activities.

2023 is also the year that VNPT reaps a bumper crop of awards with nearly 50 domestic and international awards for products, services and solutions, most of which are information technology platforms and solutions serving digital transformation. Among them, VNPT's Customer Experience Transformation Solution is the only representative of Vietnam to win the TM Forum's Excellence Awards 2023 in the customer experience category.

2023 is also the third consecutive year that VNPT has won the championship at the Information Security arena - Security Bootcamp 2023. VNPT OneSME digital transformation platform was honored in the Top 4 best solutions of the Vietnam Innovation Challenge 2023. Previously, VNPT OneSME was also honored at the Top 10 Make in Vietnam 2022 Award and the Vietnam Digital Transformation Award 2022.

In addition, VNPT FaceID is the only technology in Vietnam to simultaneously achieve 2 achievements in the Top 10 in the world (according to NIST FRVT) in facial recognition and achieve iBeta's Anti-Face Spoofing Certificate according to ISO/IEC 30107-3 standard. As a typical solution of VNPT contributing to the development of digital society, VNPT SmartCA service has won the Silver Award Make in Vietnam 2023 in the category of Outstanding Digital Technology Products for Digital Society. Such awards have certified the quality and brand of digital products developed by VNPT people.

In the field of providing digital services for enterprises and digital government, VNPT continues to receive the trust of ministries, branches, localities and enterprises. Many of VNPT's digital products launched in 2022 have created a spread in 2023.

After the successes that VNPT has achieved in implementing major digital transformation projects of the Government in the past time, and most recently the National Population Database System project, VNPT's reputation and brand in the field of digital transformation have been enhanced. Thanks to that, in 2023, VNPT continues to receive the trust of units when choosing VNPT as a partner in implementing digital transformation.

Typically, the strategic cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Public Security marked VNPT's official participation in digital transformation projects in the field of national population management. Subsequently, VNPT was also selected by the Supreme People's Procuracy as a partner in implementing digital transformation in the People's Procuracy sector.

In the past year, VNPT continued to be selected by the Ministry of Public Security as a partner to implement the project "Supplementing and upgrading hardware and software for the Population system and citizen identification system at the National Population Data Center to serve the implementation of Project 06/CP", bringing in 248 billion VND for the Group.

After successfully deploying the National Database on Civil Servants and Public Employees, in March 2023, VNPT promoted the deployment of VNPT CCVC 3.0 software in ministries, branches and localities. After 9 months, this product has been deployed to 42 provinces/cities, 21 ministries/departments/branches, managing 1.6 million civil servants/public employees nationwide, accounting for 66% market share.

The product helps ministries, branches and localities to comprehensively digitally transform the field of human resource management in administrative and public service agencies and units, seamlessly connecting the profiles of civil servants and public employees of ministries/branches/localities with the National Database of civil servants and public employees. These are potential projects with leading role to help VNPT further affirm its position in implementing the strategy of leading national digital transformation.

In 2023, VNPT's information technology infrastructure will have a breakthrough and expansion direction. VNPT has opened the 8th Data Center (IDC) at Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, the largest in Vietnam today. The opening of IDC Hoa Lac is a testament to VNPT's aspiration to accompany the Government in building a modern, internationally-standard digital infrastructure so that Vietnamese data can be stored and processed in Vietnam according to the direction of the Government and the Ministry of Information and Communications.

Customer experience continues to be identified as one of VNPT's key tasks in 2023. Accordingly, VNPT has promoted the application of 4.0 solutions, typically applying BigData and AI technology platforms to measure and analyze interactive data to create personalized experiences for telecommunications and information technology products and services.

In addition to applying 4.0 technology to enhance customer experience, VNPT has also focused on network optimization programs to help improve the quality of experience. That effort has been certified by Ookla - the world's leading mobile and internet speed testing unit, VinaPhone as the fastest mobile network in Vietnam in 2023. Vinaphone's 5G wave has been expanded to 16 provinces/cities, serving customers' new technology experiences in central areas and events and festivals.

By mastering 4.0 technology platforms such as AI, BigData, IoT, cloud computing, etc., VNPT has "smartened" the products provided to customers. Thanks to that, 15 core products and services of VNPT have been standardized, upgraded and launched to the market. VNPT has focused on developing platforms, platform ecosystems, digital transformation products for businesses, converting traditional telecommunications services into core platforms to develop a personal digital service ecosystem for households through the integration of digital services, content services, digital finance, television, and digital utilities.

The results achieved in 2023 not only show the great efforts of the leadership, officers and employees of VNPT in a difficult context, but also serve as a premise and motivation for the Group to set new goals for the following year.
