In the period of 2018-2023, TKV trade unions at all levels have promoted the spirit of "Discipline and unity", launched emulation movements among employees to complete production and business tasks, bringing many benefits to businesses and employees, overcoming difficulties caused by the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Through emulation movements with the spirit of "Courage - Creativity - Overcoming difficulties", all production and business fields have seen outstanding individuals. Mr. Le Van Bien, Mining Workshop 7 (Thong Nhat Coal Company), has been an exemplary miner for 13 years, ensuring productivity, working days, and safety. In the past 5 years, he has had 9 initiatives that have brought in over 350 million VND; he is a high-income worker of the Company, averaging over 400 million VND/year. He has been awarded many emulation titles, the title "Creative Miner", Certificate of Creative Labor; is 1/50 delegates selected to commend the 50th Anniversary of Uncle Ho meeting the delegation of workers and officials of the Coal Industry; is a delegate of TKV to attend the 10th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.
Mr. Pham Thanh Cong, Head of Mining Technology Department (Ha Lam Coal Joint Stock Company), has the most "terrifying" initiative in the coal industry when researching and directing the construction of the 7-3-1 mechanized longwall over-milling of seam 7 with a capacity of 1.2 million tons/year, ensuring safety, completing the assigned planned output; the value of profit is 33.6 billion VND. Each year, he contributes about 10 initiatives, mainly in the field of improving working conditions for workers, increasing labor productivity, reducing costs, and rationalizing production. His initiative is 1/128 initiatives participating in the 75,000 initiatives program of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. He was awarded the Certificate of Creative Labor by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; TKV awarded the Glorious Miner Badge.
According to Mr. Le Thanh Xuan, Chairman of TKV Trade Union, every year TKV Trade Union launches an emulation movement with the theme "Innovation - Practicality - Efficiency", focusing on the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers", attracting a large number of union members and employees to participate in promoting initiatives, improving techniques, rationalizing production, contributing to improving labor productivity, improving working conditions and increasing income for employees. In the past 5 years, there have been 43,568 innovative topics bringing in a value of over 5,000 billion VND. The emulation movement to ensure working days, ensure safety and labor productivity has been registered by 100% of workers. In the past 5 years, there have been over 6,000 employees with an income of over 400 million VND/year, especially some with an income of over 500 million VND/year.
Responding to the Program "75,000 initiatives, overcoming difficulties, developing" of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, 66/66 units participated, a total of 4,032 initiatives, reaching 115% of the plan. The Program "1 million initiatives - efforts to overcome difficulties, creativity, determination to defeat the Covid-19 pandemic" of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, had 10,120 initiatives of 65/65 units participating, reaching over 100% of the plan. Some participating units with high results are the Trade Unions of the following companies: Cua Ong Coal Selection, Nam Mau Coal, Uong Bi Coal, Ha Lam Coal, Vang Danh Coal, Mao Khe Coal, Hon Gai Coal...
In order to honor and express gratitude to individuals with outstanding achievements in labor, in recent years, TKV Trade Union has awarded 765 individuals the title of "Creative Miner", with a reward of 1.53 billion VND; Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded the Certificate of Creative Labor to 240 individuals. After 5 years of organizing the program "Glory to Miners", TKV Trade Union has commended and rewarded 900 excellent employees and good managers. This activity has spread the spirit of positive competition among union members, employees, creative workers, and intellectual dedication to the development of the enterprise; at the same time, it has created an environment of emulation among employees, and more and more typical examples are being replicated in the Group.
