Forecasting that electricity demand in 2024 will continue to grow strongly compared to 2023, the Government, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Vietnam Electricity Group have proposed many solutions to ensure electricity supply during the peak dry season months (April, May, June, July) in 2024 with a load increase of 9.6%.
However, challenges in supplying electricity to the national power system, especially for the North in 2024, still exist.
This reality requires closer coordination between the electricity sector and ministries, energy corporations, investors of electricity projects; between local electricity units and the Department of Industry and Trade of provinces/cities... in sharing the responsibility of ensuring electricity for production and daily life.
To provide readers with general information about the 2024 electricity supply plan, especially for the North, as well as solutions and sharing responsibility for efficient electricity use, VietNamNet Newspaper in coordination with the Northern Power Corporation organized an online discussion with the topic:
“SHARE RESPONSIBILITY FOR PROVIDING PEAK ELECTRICITY IN THE 2024 DRY SEASON”
Time: 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday, April 8, 2024
The seminar was attended by representatives of the Electricity Regulatory Authority (Ministry of Industry and Trade), Vietnam Electricity Group, Northern Power Corporation, Department of Industry and Trade, experts...
