Vietnam to host ITF Asia U14 Tennis Championship

From January 6 to 19, 2024, the ITF Asia U14 Tennis Championship will take place at Hanaka Paris Ocean Park Tennis Court Complex (Bac Ninh), with the participation of more than 70 international athletes and coaches.

The tournament is organized under the coordination of the International Tennis Federation (ITF), the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF), the Vietnam Tennis Federation (VTF). In addition, there is the support of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VHTT&DL) of Bac Ninh and the company Hanaka Group Joint Stock Company - the Diamond Sponsor of the tournament.

According to the schedule, the ITF Asia U14 Tennis Championship (Development of the South Asia, Southeast Asia and East Asia qualifiers) will take place from January 6 to 19, 2024 at the Hanaka Paris Ocean Park Tennis Court Complex, Nguyen Van Cu Street, Dong Nguyen Ward, Tu Son City, Bac Ninh Province. The tennis court complex is considered to be of the highest quality in Vietnam, meeting international standards, and has hosted many major tournaments such as the Davis Cup play-off round, SEA Games 31, etc.

According to the organizers, the upcoming tournament will be played on 7 hard courts, bringing together more than 70 athletes and coaches from 14 countries including: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Japan, Laos, Macau, Maldives, Mongolia, Singapore, Timor Leste, Sri Lanka and host Vietnam.

The top four countries in the tournament will qualify for the International Tennis Development U14 Finals in India from 08-17 April 2024.

The tournament is a useful playground for young Vietnamese tennis players, helping them to compete, gain experience as well as improve their personal achievements on the ITF rankings. Thereby, it helps to introduce and promote the image of rich culture, tourism and friendly and hospitable people of Bac Ninh province to many friends and domestic and international tourists.
