RT quoted the announcement of Tula Region Governor Aleksey Dyumin, the attack took place in the early morning of November 26, the apartment building in Tula city was hit by a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).

According to the Tula authorities, air defense forces in the area successfully intercepted four other UAVs in the attack. In the early morning of November 26, Ukraine also launched large-scale UAV attacks on many areas of Russia as well as the capital Moscow, but were all prevented.

According to Governor Dyumin, at least three apartments in the apartment building were damaged by the Ukrainian UAV but not too seriously, the incident also left one person slightly injured.

Part of the apartment building was damaged after a Ukrainian UAV attack in the early morning of November 26.

Residents of the building were evacuated to a nearby kindergarten after the attack to stabilize the situation. Most returned to their homes after dawn and the fire risk was eliminated.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry said that its air defense forces shot down 20 Ukrainian attack drones in the Moscow, Tula, Kaluga and Bryansk regions in the early morning of November 26.

The Russian Defense Ministry announced that “an attempted terrorist attack was thwarted” overnight, confirming that at least 11 UAVs were intercepted in four regions southwest of Moscow.

Earlier this month, a Ukrainian general in charge of UAV operations announced that Kiev was preparing for a large-scale UAV offensive against Russia this winter, as the ground war is expected to lull due to harsh weather conditions.

On November 25, Ukraine accused Russia of carrying out the “largest ever” drone attack, with most of the targets located in the capital Kiev. The Ukrainian Air Force claimed to have intercepted more than 70 Russian drones in just one night.
