In the 75th minute, midfielder A Mit passed the ball to Viet Tu (Thanh Hoa Club) to receive in the penalty area. The home player cleared the ball to continue approaching the goal.

In this situation, defender Hoang Van Khanh (Nam Dinh Club) rushed out to block, he collided and blocked Viet Tu's dribbling path. Many people thought this was a penalty for the Thanh team, but referee Hoang Ngoc Ha and the VAR team did not blow the whistle for the Nam Dinh player.
