(Dan Tri) - The woman said she lost 9.5 million VND so she made up a story about being pickpocketed to gain sympathy from people around her.
Regarding the clip of a woman accusing two people of pickpocketing her at Children's Hospital 2, District 1 Police are consolidating the case file to handle Ms. Ho Thi Xuan (born in 1987, residing in Lam Dong province) for taking advantage of social networks to share false information.
Working with the police, Ms. Xuan initially admitted that the content of the accusation that 2 people picked her pocket at the gate of Children's Hospital 2 was not true. The reason was that she accidentally lost 9.5 million VND while traveling from Mien Dong Bus Station to Children's Hospital 2.
In addition, the woman stated that the purpose of posting the clip above was to ask the online community to share it so that everyone could support and donate so that she could have enough money to see a doctor for her child and buy a bus ticket to go home. The total amount of money that she received from everyone was 28.3 million VND, and currently Ms. Xuan's account has 27.3 million VND left.

Previously, District 1 Police discovered a clip filmed by a woman holding a child and crying in the premises of Children's Hospital 2, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, with the content: "At around 4:30 a.m. on February 10, she took her child from her hometown to Children's Hospital 2 for a medical examination. While she was waiting for a car outside the gate, two people came to ask for directions, gave her a phone, she looked at the phone for a while and then didn't know anything else.
After that, she had her pocket picked and lost 9.5 million VND. By morning, she had no money left to go to the doctor, only more than 90,000 VND left, her phone was in a diaper bag so it was not taken. She stood there for 20 minutes, then a man saw her child crying, and she was lying down on a stone bench, the man came and hit her to wake her up. Now she has no money left, so she asks everyone to help her and her child have money to go to the doctor."
Given the seriousness of the incident, District 1 Police directed the Criminal Police Team to investigate and extract security camera data from the hospital and surrounding facilities. Thereby, the authorities determined that the woman was not pickpocketed as shown in the clip. Currently, Ms. Xuan has voluntarily deleted the clip posted on social media.
