VFF profit 2.3 billion VND in 2024

On the morning of November 22, the 9th Annual Congress of the Vietnam Football Federation (term 2022-2026) took place in Hanoi. In 2024, VFF achieved a total revenue of more than 286 billion VND, spent about 284 billion VND and made a profit of 2.3 billion VND. In 2025, VFF aims to earn 270 billion VND, striving to achieve a profit of 4 billion VND (nearly double that of 2024). In addition, this unit will carry out a series of investment items from FIFA and AFC funding sources such as: investing in the Vietnam national team, investing in VAR technology for V.League; renovating the VFF office; investing in the technical analysis department of the teams.

This is an acceptable figure in the context of the difficult economic situation, the achievements of the Vietnam team have not met the expectations of the fans. It will take a period for the VFF to rebuild the team before setting breakthrough goals in terms of sponsorship and communication.

In 2024, VFF actively and effectively implemented the work according to the plan and in accordance with the goals in each specific stage, but there are still issues that need to be analyzed and learned from experience. Therefore, the Congress focused on proposing solutions, implementing the orientation and goals for the development of Vietnamese football in 2025 and the next stage, striving to successfully implement the Resolution of the 9th Congress, term 2022-2026.

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan - President of VFF emphasized that the Annual Congress of the Vietnam Football Federation is an important event to summarize and evaluate the work implemented in 2024, as well as to approve the plan and key tasks of 2025 with the determination to effectively implement the goals of Vietnamese football in the spirit of the 9th VFF Congress (term 2022-2026): "Building a sustainable football development".

Implementing the Resolution of the 9th VFF Congress for the 2022-2026 term, in the year of operation 2024, the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, member organizations and affiliated units of the VFF have always upheld the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, overcome difficulties, led and directed the organization and implementation of football development activities.

For the remainder of 2024, VFF will focus on fully supporting the Vietnamese team to achieve the goal of reaching the final of the 2024 AFF Cup.
