(Dan Tri) - With limited quantity and scarce supply, Vespa 946 Snake is expected to "increase in price", as expensive as a car when it arrives in Vietnam, similar to the previously distributed anniversary versions.
Recently, Piaggio introduced a new commemorative version of the Vespa 946 model for the Lunar New Year 2025. This variant is called Snake, only 888 units are produced worldwide, promising to attract players who are collecting the Lunar Collection of this brand.

Unlike previous anniversary versions, the Vespa 946 Snake does not have a unique decal. Instead, this scooter model wears a rather fashionable and "elegant" appearance, with an icy blue exterior paint, a leather saddle cover and rubber grips shaped like snake skin.

The suggested retail price of the Vespa 946 Snake has not been revealed, but it is not difficult to predict the "price increase" of this scooter model when it arrives in Vietnam. Previously, some limited editions such as the 946 Dragon were "priced" up to 2 billion VND, with the first one arriving in the country in early 2024.
After that, Vespa 946 Dragon was quickly distributed by the official distributor with a price of 455 million VND, but the quantity was limited, and quickly sold out. After that, private motorbike businesses also entered the "game" but quoted a price of about 700 million VND, at times up to 800 million VND.

By the end of 2024, according to Dan Tri reporters, Vespa 946 Dragon has "cooled down". Most private establishments quoted a price of about 500 million VND, 200 million VND lower than before, and some places even applied a price of 468 million VND, only 13 million VND higher than the genuine car price.
Therefore, when it returns to Vietnam, it is likely that the Vespa 946 Snake will create a similar "fever", especially when the number of vehicles manufactured of this model is less than the 946 Dragon version (1,888 units worldwide).
