Gold sinks in red
Domestic gold prices have fallen sharply following the downward trend of world gold prices. Currently, gold prices are hovering around 78 million VND/tael.
Surveyed at 5:00 a.m. on February 4, DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold today at 75.95 million VND/tael for buying and 78.25 million VND/tael for selling.

At Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, the price of Mi Hong gold at the time of survey listed the price of SJC gold at 76.00 - 77.00 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is also traded at 76.00 - 78.05 million VND/tael (buy - sell). Meanwhile, Bao Tin Manh Hai is trading at 76.00 - 78.30 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 5:00 a.m. today, Vietnam time, was at 2,039.750 USD/ounce. Converted according to the current exchange rate at Vietcombank, the world gold price is about 59.136 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees).
Japanese Yen exchange rate continues to plummet
According to a survey by the Industry and Trade Newspaper, the Japanese Yen exchange rate today, February 4, has been on a long-term decline. Eximbank is the bank with the highest buying rate and the lowest selling rate among all banks.
Specifically at some banks as follows:
At Vietcombank , the Vietcombank Japanese Yen exchange rate is 160.92 VND/JPY and the selling rate is 170.32 VND/JPY, down 0.46 VND on the buying side and down 0.49 VND on the selling side.
At Vietinbank, the Yen exchange rate decreased by 0.05 VND in both buying and selling directions, equivalent to 161.95 VND/JPY and 171.65 VND/JPY.
At BIDV Bank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate decreased by 0.31 VND in buying and 0.35 VND in selling, reaching 161.97 VND/JPY and 170.54 VND/JPY, respectively.
At Agribank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate for buying and selling is 163.51 VND/JPY and 169.33 VND/JPY - up 0.55 VND for buying and up 0.6 VND for selling.
At Eximbank, the buying price increased by 1 VND and the selling price increased by 1.02 VND, respectively at 163.84 VND/JPY and 168.53 VND/JPY.
At Techcombank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate decreased by 0.37 VND in buying and 0.35 VND in selling with prices of 159.30 VND/JPY and 170.33 VND/JPY, respectively.
Domestic coffee prices down
Domestic coffee prices were updated at 5:24 a.m. on February 4, down 300 - 400 VND/kg. Currently, the average price is 78,400 VND/kg in the Central Highlands provinces, the highest purchase price in Dak Nong province is 79,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, the coffee purchase price in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces is quite high at 78,400 VND/kg; In Dak Nong province, coffee is purchased at the highest price of 79,000 VND/kg.
The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha, coffee is purchased at 77,700 VND/kg.
In Dak Lak province today, in Cu M'gar district, coffee was purchased at 78,500 VND/kg, and in Ea H'leo district and Buon Ho town, it was purchased at the same price of 78,600 VND/kg.
Pig prices are quiet
Pig price today, February 4, is quiet on the weekend and recorded an average of around 55,000 VND/kg.
In the Northern region, live pig prices continued to move sideways across the board and fluctuated between 58,000 - 59,000 VND/kg.
In the Central Highlands region, there were no new fluctuations and prices fluctuated between 53,000 - 57,000 VND/kg.
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs today is quiet on the weekend and fluctuates between 52,000 - 56,000 VND/kg.
