On October 8, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province continued to receive the sympathy and sharing of agencies, units and organizations responding to the Letter calling for support for people in the province to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3.
Accordingly, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee received 2 billion VND donated by the Quang Ninh Provincial Police delegation. This amount was taken from the People's Police Comradeship Fund, Ministry of Public Security.
On the same day, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee received 22.5 million VND donated by the Cao Dai dignitaries, officials, and followers of the Tay Ninh sect.
Thus, as of 4:30 p.m. on October 8, 2,728 groups and individuals had registered and supported the people of Quang Ninh province to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3, with a total cash amount of over 101 billion VND and in-kind items worth over 8 billion VND.
The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province would like to express our sincere gratitude to the people, individuals, organizations and charitable units in the province. At the same time, we pledge to continue to receive, manage and use the money and goods in support effectively, in accordance with State regulations, ensuring publicity, transparency, objectivity, fairness and timeliness.
