Application of projection technology in the exhibition "Hanoi - Vitality and Faith"

Paintings by famous artists Bui Xuan Phai, Tran Dinh Tho, Nguyen Van Ty... about Hanoi will be introduced to the public of the capital in the exhibition "Hanoi - Vitality and Faith", taking place at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum (66 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Ba Dinh, Hanoi), from October 8 to 22.

The exhibition "Hanoi - Vitality and Faith" is organized by the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).

The exhibition introduces 70 paintings, graphics, and sculptures selected from the modern art collection of the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, with diverse materials and rich visual language, vividly and realistically expressing the vitality and rise of the Capital and the trust of the people of the whole country for Hanoi.

Among them, there are many works by famous artists such as: "Capturing the Northern Palace" (Tran Dinh Tho), "Nga Tu So Fortress" (Nguyen Van Ty), "Hanoi in 1947" (Cong Van Trung), "Capital of Resistance" (Nguyen Quang Phong), "Hanoi on Liberation Night" (Le Thanh Duc), "The Joy of Liberation" (painter Tran Khanh Chuong), "Gia Ngu Street" (Bui Xuan Phai), "Uncle Ho with Gia Lam Railway Workers" (Pham Van Lung)... In particular, the exhibition combines traditional display and the application of modern digital projection technology, and also includes woodblock printing to bring an attractive experience to art lovers. Within the framework of the exhibition, on October 12, there will be an art talk show with the theme "Famous painter Nguyen Tu Nghiem - the one who connects traditional aesthetic values ​​with contemporary ones".
