Speaking at the awarding ceremony, Chairman of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association Luong Xuan Doan shared that the works transferred to the Museum this time are very valuable works of art by artists from many regions, collected by the Vietnam Fine Arts Association through art exhibitions, art events in each region, through creative camps...
According to Mr. Luong Xuan Doan, due to conditions, more than 1,000 valuable works of art are only kept in the Vietnam Fine Arts Association's archives, without the opportunity to be published or introduced to the public. Therefore, the Association transfers the works to the Museum to keep, preserve, promote the value of the works, and bring the works closer to the public...
Director of the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum Nguyen Anh Minh emphasized: Receiving 25 works donated by the Vietnam Fine Arts Association is an extremely important event. Throughout history, since the establishment of the Museum, the Vietnam Fine Arts Association has repeatedly transferred works of art to the Museum to preserve and promote their value.
However, after a few decades of interruption, this transfer is extremely important, because the number of transferred works is large, up to 25 works, and these are all works of art with high value both in terms of art and economic value in the current art market. Among them, there are works by famous artists that the Museum has long wanted to collect but could not find, because the artist has passed away, such as the work of artist Hoang Hong Cam - a very famous work of a famous artist.
Director of the Fine Arts Museum Nguyen Anh Minh shared that, although the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has paid attention to creating favorable conditions, with a very modest budget, the Museum has encountered many difficulties in collecting fine art works to preserve and promote their value in the future. Therefore, receiving 25 valuable works from the Vietnam Fine Arts Association this time is a great joy for the Museum, because the Museum will have a new collection with a quantity equivalent to more than 2 years of diligent collection.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Minh expressed his gratitude to the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association for agreeing with the decision of the Association's President to transfer valuable works of art to the Museum to preserve and promote the value of the works of art for future generations. At the same time, he pledged to preserve and promote the best value of the works in the future. As soon as conditions permit, the Museum will plan to organize an exhibition of works donated by authors and benefactors, to spread and promote the value of the works of art to the public.
Director of the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum Nguyen Anh Minh hopes that the transfer of works will continue in the coming time, and at the same time expresses his wish and calls on artists, researchers, collectors, businesses, etc. to continue to support and contribute to the collection and donation of valuable works of art to the museum, to supplement and enrich its collections, so that future generations have the opportunity to enjoy the works of art left by their ancestors.
