As planned, the 27th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee will take place over 4.5 days (from October 11 to the morning of October 17) at the National Assembly House.
National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue attended, delivered the opening speech and, together with the Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly, took turns chairing the content of the session.
The meeting lasted 4.5 days, with many important contents in preparation for the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
At this session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the report on the results of monitoring the settlement and response to voters' petitions sent to the 5th session of the 15th National Assembly; the results of receiving citizens, handling petitions and supervising the settlement of citizens' complaints and denunciations sent to the National Assembly in 2023; and consider the report on the National Assembly's petition work in September 2023.
Next, the National Assembly Standing Committee will comment on the draft report synthesizing opinions and recommendations of voters and people sent to the 6th session of the National Assembly. Comment on important issues to be submitted to the National Assembly at the 6th session.
Comments on the report on the implementation of Resolution No. 43 of the National Assembly on fiscal and monetary policies to support the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program.
Provide comments on the Government's report on the implementation results, difficulties and obstacles in implementing three national target programs in the 2021-2023 period and propose specific solutions and mechanisms to remove difficulties and obstacles, and speed up the implementation progress of the programs in the coming time.
The National Assembly Standing Committee will give its opinion on preparations for a vote of confidence for people holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly at the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly.
The 27th session will also review the Government's report on citizen reception, complaint and denunciation settlement in 2023. Conduct thematic supervision on "Implementation of policies and laws on energy development in the period 2016-2021".

Review and decide on the plan to allocate and use the increased revenue and savings from regular expenditures of the central budget in 2022 and the increased revenue from the central budget in 2021 allocated to the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program to implement the policy of supporting remaining rent for workers.
Comments on: Draft Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting a number of mechanisms and policies to remove obstacles stipulated in a number of laws related to investment in construction of road traffic works.
Regarding socio-economic issues, opinions will include: Assessment of the implementation results of the 2023 socio-economic development plan, the expected 2024 socio-economic development plan. Mid-term assessment of the implementation results of Resolution No. 16 on the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2021-2025.
Mid-term review of the implementation results of Resolution No. 31 on the Economic Restructuring Plan for the 2021-2025 period.
Comment on the contents related to budget finance, including: State budget implementation situation in 2023, State budget estimates, Central budget allocation plan in 2024 (including the implementation situation of the state budget public investment plan in 2023, expected state budget public investment plan in 2024).
Mid-term review of the implementation of the 5-year National Financial Plan and public borrowing and debt repayment for the 2021-2025 period. Mid-term review of the implementation of the medium-term public investment plan for the 2021-2025 period.
The National Assembly Standing Committee also considered and decided on supplementing the revenue and expenditure estimates for foreign aid capital in 2023 of Quang Binh province.
Comment on the Government's report on the results of the review of the system of legal documents before submitting it to the National Assembly at the 6th Session as required in Resolution No. 101 of the National Assembly .
