According to the report of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Quang Nam Drug Rehabilitation Center (under the Department) is a public service unit with the function and task of receiving, managing, caring for, detoxifying and treating drug addicts in the province.

The Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs requests competent authorities to approve the method of providing drug addiction treatment services, including drug addiction prevention counseling services; drug addiction treatment, detoxification, and rehabilitation counseling; vocational training and job creation for drug addicts at the Quang Nam Drug Addiction Treatment Center according to the task assignment method.

After listening to the opinions of relevant departments, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan assigned the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to continue completing the process and procedures and submit them to the Provincial People's Committee for decision.
