In Vietnam, 1 in 3 women over 50 years old suffer from osteoporosis. According to statistics from the Ho Chi Minh City Osteoporosis Association, there are about 3.6 million people suffering from osteoporosis nationwide. It is predicted that by 2030 there will be about 4.5 million people suffering from the disease, of which women account for 70 - 80%.
