According to Mr. Ly Xuan Binh, along with strengthening inspection and prevention of wildlife hunting activities, the unit has also regularly inspected and closely monitored compliance with State regulations on raising wild animals at households in the area.

The Forest Protection Department also coordinates with the agricultural sector to propagate and guide wildlife breeding households to complete legal documents according to State regulations; at the same time, support households in the process and techniques of care, raising, and ensuring environmental hygiene in breeding to limit epidemics.

A typical example is the household of Mr. Nguyen Dinh Son, An Thinh village, Tan An commune, Chiem Hoa district, Tuyen Quang province, which is one of the families that develop their economy from raising wild animals. Talking to reporters, Mr. Vu Dinh Son said: My family is currently raising 120 Cay Huong, Cay Tap Moc and 60 Dui Ma Dao.

The process of taking care of the animal does not take much time but brings high value. Currently, the family is raising it for breeding and selling it commercially at a price of 1.5 million VND - 1.6 million VND/kg of Huong Cay, Moc Cay, and Dao Ma Dui, which costs about 800 thousand VND/kg. Raising Huong Cay, Moc Cay and Dao Ma Dui has given Mr. Son's family an average income of about 1 billion VND/year.

According to Mr. Son, when the authorities informed him about the State's regulations on wildlife management, his family strictly complied with completing the required documents and legal procedures.

In addition, the family also regularly informs the authorities about the increase or decrease in the number of Cay Huong and Cay Tap Moc. When selling, there is a certificate of animal origin from the District Forest Protection Department.

Similarly, Mr. Vu Dinh Son's family and Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tu's family in Cay Thi village, Hop Thanh commune, Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang province are domesticating and breeding 200 Huong Cay, Moc Cay and 20 Dao Ma Dui. Mr. Tu shared: "My family has been breeding Huong Cay and Moc Cay for several years now to sell for breeding and commercial purposes.

According to Mr. Son, this is a precious animal with high economic value, so state agencies manage it very strictly. Currently, the average selling price of Cay Huong and Cay Tuong Moc is about 2,200,000 - 2,300,000 VND/kg, and the price of the breed is about 18 - 20 million VND/kg.

Because they are rare animals, the District Forest Protection Department and local authorities regularly inspect and guide the family to complete the required paperwork. The family also regularly reports to the authorities on the growth and development of wild animals, periodically cleans the cages, disinfects and sterilizes to limit disease outbreaks.
