Meritorious Artist Tran Thi Nam (San Diu ethnic group, Vinh Phuc province)
Sharing at the conference, Meritorious Artist Tran Thi Nam (San Diu ethnic group, Vinh Phuc province) said: The San Diu ethnic group today still retains its unique features, typically rich and diverse folk cultural genres such as: Traditional costumes; Soong Co singing, Suong Ca, Hat Ca, Lullaby, Cau May dancing... Those songs, dances or rituals are always imbued with cultural values, often summarizing truths, educating faith and morality.
In particular, in recent years, the San Diu ethnic group has always respected, been proud of and honored the promotion of their unique cultural values associated with community tourism to illuminate, spread widely, and integrate and develop with the Vietnamese ethnic group across the country.
In the coming time, to preserve the beauty in the cultural life of the San Diu people, Meritorious Artist Tran Thi Nam hopes that the Party and the State will pay more attention so that the San Diu people, Vinh Phuc province in particular and the whole country in general, continue to maintain and develop their cultural identity. Issue policies and have mechanisms and policies to support funding for communes in ethnic minority areas to build centers to preserve and develop the culture of the San Diu people. In particular, there should be funding to support clubs and artisans teaching Soong Co singing. In addition, it is necessary to focus on developing community tourism in combination with developing spiritual and ecological cultural tourism.
Meritorious Artist Y Sim E Ban (Ede ethnic group, Dak Nong province)
Sharing the same view, Meritorious Artist Y Sim E Ban (Ede ethnic group, Dak Nong province) said that, with ethnic minority areas, low and backward educational and economic levels have caused great obstacles in preserving and developing the traditional culture of the nation. In addition, besides the lack of financial support policies, the collection, staging, exploitation, preservation and promotion of ethnic cultural capital have not really received proper attention and investment. The organization of traditional festivals has not yet met the current needs of the people.
Thereby, Meritorious Artist Y Sim E Ban recommends that there should be specific guidance soon on measures to manage, preserve and promote cultural values in traditional festivals, customs, practices and cuisine of the Ede people in particular and Vietnamese ethnic groups in general. Furthermore, it is necessary to strengthen the investigation, survey and classification of traditional folk art forms to implement solutions to preserve, restore and promote specific values.
Meritorious Artist Sin Van Doi (Mang ethnic group, Lai Chau province) hopes that the State will have more policies to treat and encourage spiritually and materially village elders, village chiefs, artisans, prestigious people, and cultural officials in especially difficult areas and ethnic minority areas. This will contribute to stimulating the creativity of each individual./.
