In the past July, the youth of Thuong Coc commune had many meaningful and practical activities to take care of families with meritorious services and people with revolutionary contributions. Secretary of the Youth Union of Trang 2 hamlet Bui Dieu Huong shared: The gratitude activities on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27, are like a reminder to the younger generation about the tradition of patriotism, national pride, and civic responsibility to live, work, and study worthy of the great contributions of the martyrs who sacrificed for the Fatherland. The Youth Union of the hamlet mobilized over 10 youth union members to participate in cleaning the martyrs' cemetery and memorial house. Coordinated with working groups to visit, encourage, and present meaningful gifts to poor households, families with meritorious services, and people with revolutionary contributions.
At the provincial historical site - Tay Tien Monument, the Commune Youth Union launched the youth project "Digital transformation in propaganda and promotion of red addresses, historical and cultural relics". This is one of the practical activities to promote cultural values, educate the historical traditions of Thuong Coc homeland and promote digital transformation in the fields of culture and tourism. Providing information, images, documents about the relics and historical sites of the commune to visitors quickly, vividly and effectively. The project ensures practicality and accuracy in content, attracting a large number of Youth Union members and the community to exploit and spread.
Thuong Coc commune has over 400 young union members. In recent times, the work of political, ideological and legal education has been focused on innovation by the union bases; the forms, methods and objects of propaganda have been expanded. Actively propagating and educating young union members to live, study and work according to the law, and maintain a firm political stance.
Practically responding to the launch of the superior union on the winter and spring volunteer programs, Youth Month, and summer youth volunteer campaign, the Standing Committee of the Commune Youth Union has directed the branches to proactively participate in volunteer work associated with new rural construction. Specifically, in response to "National Green Sunday", 250 trees were planted, 2 km of roads were cleared; 300 kg of household waste was collected and treated; 4 landslides and soil erosion points were repaired after storms; weeded the flower garden of the youth project, cleaned the monument and the stele house with the names of heroic martyrs with nearly 100 Youth Union members participating. Coordinated with the Commune Police to propagate and guide Youth Union members and people to install and use the VneID application. Coordinated with departments, branches, and organizations to visit and give gifts to 15 policy families in the commune, with a total value of 4.5 million VND.
Comrade Bui Thu Hien, Secretary of the Youth Union of Thuong Coc commune, said: The commune's youth continue to study the directives and resolutions of the Party, the Youth Union, the policies and laws of the State, and educate the youth about revolutionary traditions and ethics and lifestyles. In emulation movements, the movement is always a pioneering force, exemplary in dedicating youth and enthusiasm. Maintain the organization of shock, voluntary and creative activities for community life with depth and focus on the grassroots. Boldly build new economic models to bring stable income and improve the quality of life.
