The brand and reputation of Son La strawberries are gradually asserting themselves through steady and safe steps.
Xuan Que Strawberry Cooperative is one of the first units to put strawberries into experimental planting since the end of 2015 with an area of only a few thousand square meters. Up to now, the Cooperative is maintaining the production of 50 hectares of Vietgap standard strawberries, supplying the market with about 1,000 tons of safe strawberries each year, supplying the system of supermarkets and wholesale markets nationwide.

The sweetness level we are keeping at 10-11, for the aroma, we are using bananas incubated with Moc Chau yogurt and eating them with water to make the strawberries more fragrant and of better quality.
After 10 years of taking root in Mai Son, strawberries have become a key crop, bringing high economic value to farmers. With over 557 hectares, Mai Son is the largest strawberry growing area in Son La province, with an output of over 7,500 tons of fruit. To increase the value of strawberries, Mai Son district has focused on managing the growing area, producing clean and safe strawberries according to Vietgap, Globalgap, applying high technology; promoting trade promotion, connecting and finding markets for products.
Ms. NGUYEN QUYNH HUONG - Noi Bai Catering Joint Stock Company, Hanoi: Mai Son, Son La is one of the growing areas that has received a lot of investment, firstly, the growing area standards are from Vietgap and above, with techniques, the province also supports farmers in building greenhouses, strawberry growing techniques to achieve the highest yield.
In the 2024-2025 crop year, Son La province has 743.2 hectares of strawberries, with an expected output of over 9,300 tons; since the beginning of the season, over 2,100 tons have been consumed. Thanks to favorable climate and soil, Son La strawberries have large, even, juicy fruits, with a rich sweetness and a distinctive delicious flavor. Son La strawberries are now available in most supermarkets, shopping malls, and wholesale markets nationwide; and are included in Vietnam Airlines meals around the world. The reputation and brand of Son La strawberries are gradually asserting their position in the market due to the prestige and quality of their products.
