From July 27-28, 2024, the experience program "We are Coast Guard soldiers" will take place.

This afternoon, June 28, the Quang Tri Provincial Children's House and Squadron 202 held a signing ceremony to coordinate the organization of the experience program "We are Coast Guard soldiers".

Accordingly, the experience program "We are Coast Guard soldiers" will take place for 2 days and 1 night from July 27-28, 2024 at Squadron 202 in Trieu An commune, Trieu Phong district. The program will have about 40-50 students, who are children between the ages of 7-15.

On this occasion, students will have the opportunity to experience and practice many skills such as: teamwork; confidence, independence, self-service, integration into the military environment, showing responsibility to the collective; practicing positive thinking, building a civilized, healthy lifestyle, being grateful and loving life more.

For the activities to take place smoothly, depending on their functions and tasks, the two units commit to coordinate in implementing tasks such as: developing an activity plan, recruiting students; fully preparing conditions for organizing the program such as: facilities, grounds for organizing cultural activities and other arising cases; assigning skilled staff to participate in serving the program; arranging experienced officers and soldiers in organizing campfires, cultural and artistic activities, logistics...

Through the program, the children in the province will have the opportunity to experience reality, learn about the daily life and activities of the Coast Guard soldiers, have the opportunity to participate and integrate into the disciplined environment of the army, thereby training themselves to develop more and more comprehensively.

In particular, it helps children be more proud of the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Coast Guard, and be more responsible in building and protecting their homeland's seas and islands. It creates solidarity, bonds, shares life skills, and creates more interesting, useful, and safe playgrounds for children during the summer vacation.
