To reach the final match, Truong Vinh Hien went through a tense semi-final match with Japanese player Kenta Miyoshi. The 2004-born player encountered many difficulties against his experienced opponent, so he was behind 1-0. However, he came back strongly in the second game to tie the score at 1-1. After that, Vinh Hien and Miyoshi fought continuously in the deciding game. In the end, the Vietnamese player was more alert, winning 17-15 in the third game with skillful ball handling situations at the net. Thereby, he won 2-1 overall and won a ticket to the final.
This was a spectacular and commendable performance by Vinh Hien, but the match with Miyoshi left him physically exhausted. Therefore, in the final match against Indian tennis player Aditya Ruhela, Vinh Hien clearly lost. Despite his best efforts, he still had to accept a 0-2 defeat (8-11, 7-11) and accepted the silver medal. Meanwhile, another top Vietnamese tennis player, Trinh Linh Giang, won the bronze medal. Ly Hoang Nam, Vietnam's number one tennis player, also participated in this tournament and stopped in the round of 32.

It can be said that Vinh Hien and Linh Giang's achievements are impressive because this is only the first time these two players have participated in a tournament in the PPA Tour Australia system. If they practice more seriously and diligently, both of them can completely change the color of their medals in the following tournaments. Vinh Hien and Linh Giang are both professional tennis players of the Vietnam tennis team and have only practiced and competed professionally in pickleball for about a year now.
