Candidates for high school graduation exam and university entrance exam this year

This morning (July 2), the Admissions Council of the International University (Ho Chi Minh City National University) announced the admission scores for university training programs under the early admission method in 2024.

Early admission methods

Specifically, method 2 is direct admission, with priority given to admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (in the admission plan), with 17 candidates meeting the admission requirements.

Method 3 gives priority to direct admission of excellent and talented candidates from high schools, with 5 candidates meeting the admission requirements.

Method 7 applies to majors in joint training programs with foreign partners according to the admission method of high school results in 2024. Accordingly, the benchmark score of majors is from 21 to 30 points (in which majors with 30 points are calculated according to the formula of English subject multiplied by 2, scale of 40).

Method 4 is to prioritize admission of excellent high school students according to the regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2024, the standard score for majors is from 21 to 38 (English language majors are calculated on a 40-point scale, English subject scores are multiplied by a coefficient of 2).

Notes for candidates eligible for admission to the school

Along with the announcement of the benchmark scores, the International University (Ho Chi Minh City National University) notes to eligible candidates the school's early admission methods.

In particular, for direct admission, from June 26, candidates who are directly admitted can look up the list of eligible candidates at: https://tracuuxt.hcmiu.edu.vn/. From July 22 to 5:00 p.m. on July 31, candidates confirm their admission on the general admission support system of the Ministry of Education and Training. Candidates who have confirmed their admission will not be allowed to register for the next admission wish. In case they have not yet confirmed their admission, candidates can continue to register their admission wish on the system or the National Public Service Portal like other candidates.

The school announces the list of qualified candidates without taking into account the high school graduation requirement and English entry requirement (for candidates admitted to joint training programs with foreign countries). The school will check these requirements when receiving the candidates' admission documents.

For the remaining early admission methods, candidates need to continue to register their admission wishes according to general regulations on the system or on the National Public Service Portal from July 18 to 5:00 p.m. on July 30, to officially be admitted.

This afternoon, the International University will announce the admission score based on the 2024 competency assessment exam scores of Ho Chi Minh City National University.

Yesterday (July 1), another member school of Ho Chi Minh City National University, the University of Natural Sciences, announced the admission scores for the direct admission and priority admission methods.
