Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry still considers high school transcripts for admission

(NLDO)- In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry will use 5 admission methods for majors and training programs.

The 2025 enrollment information announced by Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry shows that the school uses 5 admission methods for majors, including:

Method 1 : Direct admission and priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Method 2 : Admission based on the results of the Competency Assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2025. The school does not use this method to admit students to the Early ChildhoodEducation program (college and university levels).

Method 3 : Admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2025:

- Admission is based on the scores of the 2025 high school graduation exam subjects included in the admission combination.

- For the Early Childhood Education major (college and university level), admission is based on: high school graduation exam scores of two (2) subjects Math and Literature and aptitude test scores.

Method 4 : Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, adding or replacing a subject in the admission combination with high school academic results (transcript):

- Not applicable for admission to Preschool Education (University and College level)

- Admission is based on the scores of the 2025 high school graduation exams included in the admission combination. Candidates can use their academic transcript scores (average of three years of high school, rounded to 2 decimal places) of a subject to supplement or replace a subject in the admission combination, this subject cannot be math and/or literature.

Method 5 : Admission based on high school academic results (transcripts):

- Use the transcript score (average of 3 years of high school, rounded to 2 decimal places) of each subject in the admission combination. At the main campus, only candidates graduating from high school in 2025 will be considered for admission.

- For admission to Preschool Education (college and university level), use the transcript score (average of 3 years of high school, rounded to 2 decimal places) of 2 subjects: math and literature combined with the results of the aptitude test.

Note :

For admission methods 3 and 5, candidates can use international English certificate scores (IELTS or TOEFL ITP) within 2 years from September 1, 2025, converted according to regulations to supplement or replace the English subject in the admission combination.

In which, the IELTS test score must be 5.0 or higher or the TOEFL ITP test score must be 470 or higher. The converted score is as follows:

Candidates can use international English certificate scores to replace English in the admission combination.
