Nguyen Tat Thanh University recruits 10,000 students, opens 2 new majors

The Admissions Council of Nguyen Tat Thanh University has just announced the expected enrollment plan for 2024 with about 10,000 targets and 4 admission methods.

Accordingly, the school will consider the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam according to the subject combination (40% of the target), consider the transcript (40% of the target), and consider the results of the competency assessment test of Ho Chi Minh City National University and Hanoi National University.

In addition, there is direct admission, priority is given to candidates who won prizes in national excellent student competitions, national science and technology competitions, ASEAN and international vocational competitions; and admission of foreign candidates who are qualified to study or are nominated.

To consider the transcript, candidates can use the average score of 3 semesters (semesters) - one semester of grade 10, one semester of grade 11 and one semester of grade 12 - from 18 or higher (candidates can choose the highest score in 2 semesters of each school year); or the combined score of subjects for grade 12 admission is from 18 or higher, or the average score of the entire grade 12 year is from 6.0 or higher. The school is starting to accept the first batch of applications for this method.

In the methods of considering academic records, competency assessment test scores and direct admission, candidates for the majors of medicine, pharmacy, and preschool education must have a grade 12 academic performance classified as excellent or a high school graduation score of 8.0 or higher; candidates for the majors of preventive medicine, medical testing techniques, nursing, and rehabilitation techniques must have a grade 12 academic performance classified as fair or a high school graduation score of 6.5 or higher.

For majors with a combination of gifted subjects, the school considers a combination of basic subject scores (from high school graduation exam scores or from high school transcript scores) with gifted subject exam scores organized by Nguyen Tat Thanh University or from other universities.

In 2024, Nguyen Tat Thanh University plans to open two new majors: fashion design and veterinary medicine.
