Attending the signing ceremony, on TDTU's side, there was the presence of Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thi Minh Ly - Head of the Faculty of Business Administration, representative of the University Council; Dr. Dinh Hoang Bach - Director of the TDTU Institute of International Cooperation, Research and Training, along with the leaders of the Faculties and lecturers in charge of international cooperation of the University.
On the side of James Cook University, Singapore campus, there were: Professor Chris Rudd OBE - Vice President, Head of Singapore campus, Professor May Tan-Mullins - Head of International Division, Director of Sustainable Development, Ms. Cassandra Lee - Director of Admissions & Cooperation, Ms. Vong Ngoc Van Anh - Representative of Admissions & Cooperation in Vietnam.
Speaking at the ceremony, the leaders of the two universities expressed their expectations for the potential for cooperation between the two sides, based on the existing strengths as well as the development orientation of each school. Both sides emphasized the practical effectiveness of the cooperation program, with the common goal of building talents in the tropical region through education and research in the coming time of both schools.
The content of the cooperation agreement includes many fields, including the main contents such as: Implementing the development of joint training programs for Bachelor and Master degrees in various fields including Economics, Information Technology, Languages, Education, Science & Environment and other fields; Implementing and supporting exchange, study and cultural exchange programs; Coordinating the organization of conferences, seminars, scientific and academic discussions in training management and scientific research and a number of other exchange activities. It is known that before signing the cooperation agreement, the two schools had many visits back and forth as well as coordinated in a number of connection activities over the past years.
