This is a national competition organized by the Center for Natural Resources and Environment Communication (Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment) in coordination with the Vietnam Economic Magazine (Vietnam Economic Association). Thereby, it aims to raise awareness and the spirit of innovative entrepreneurship; search for advanced technology products, projects and breakthrough solutions that contribute to the development of a green, circular and sustainable economy.
After one month of launching, the contest attracted 75 entries from 22 localities across the country. As a result, the jury awarded 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes, 6 third prizes and 8 consolation prizes to authors and groups of authors with feasible projects that can be applied in practice.
The author group of Da Nang University of Technical Education, including lecturers Pham Minh Man, Tran Thi Hoai Thu (Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Research), Truong Anh Tri (Faculty of Mechanics) won the second prize with the product "NZC GREEN TED".
Master Pham Minh Man - Deputy Director in charge of the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Research of the school said that the product "NZC GREEN TED" applies new technology, using solar energy with lithium-ion batteries and IoT control system to reduce the amount of CO2 emitted into the environment, optimizing reuse in production fields such as construction, agriculture and aquaculture.
This solution not only meets the competition criteria but also shows great potential in activities connecting "three houses" in training and applied research, contributing to creating a startup ecosystem right in the classroom and sustainable development.
