The University of Foreign Languages (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) has just announced the admission scores based on the combination of high school transcripts and interviews in 2024.
The highest standard score for a Foreign Language University transcript is 9.4 points per subject. |
With the method of reviewing transcripts and interviews, students must achieve from 8 to 9.4 points per subject to pass the University of Foreign Languages.
This year, the school will consider transcripts and interviews with students from high schools under Hanoi National University and specialized students from specialized high schools at provincial and central city levels, and key national high schools.
Candidates who pass the first choice must have an average score of 5 semesters (grade 10, grade 11, semester 1 grade 12) of 3 subjects in the admission group that meets the required threshold and have a Pass interview result.

For the interview, the school evaluates the candidate based on the level of "Pass" or "Fail". If passed, the candidate's academic record is considered, which is the average score of 5 semesters in high school (except for the second semester of grade 12). The school announces the admission score based on the average subject.
English Pedagogy has the highest standard score. On average, each subject in the admission group must achieve a minimum score of 9.4 or higher to be admitted.
The second place is Chinese Pedagogy with 9.2 points per subject. This level for German and Korean Pedagogy is 9.1, Japanese is 9 points.
For language training majors, the benchmark score has two levels: 8 points for specialized school students and 8.5 for the remaining group.
In 2024, the University of Foreign Languages (VNU-Hanoi) will enroll 2,350 students, an increase of 400 positions. The expected tuition fee is 15-62.5 million VND. Of which, the English, French, Chinese, German, Japanese, and Korean language programs have tuition fees of 38 million VND/year, unchanged throughout the entire course.
Tuition for Russian and Arabic language training programs is 21 million VND/year; for the training program in Transnational Culture and Communication, it is 15 million VND/year. The international joint program in Economics and Finance, awarded by Southern New Hampshire University, USA, has a tuition fee of 62.5 million VND/year.
