On August 17, according to the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training, this unit has issued a document requesting Dak Lak Pedagogical College to seriously review and draw lessons from relevant individuals and groups; research and implement plans to advise and propose timely and definitive solutions to violations, ensuring the rights of learners related to the implementation of regulations on enrollment, training, association, training of teachers' professional titles and other short-term training at this school.
The Department also requested the school to continue reviewing the entire admission, training, exam organization and related processes; promptly correct errors; specifically report on existing problems and limitations that have not been overcome; carefully study documents before organizing activities to avoid mistakes or repeating mistakes in management, organization and activities.
Previously, the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training organized a delegation to inspect the management work of Dak Lak Pedagogical College. Through the inspection, the delegation discovered that the school recruited students for the college-level preschool education program (linked from intermediate preschool teacher training) - part-time program for the 2021-2022 school year, recruiting 184/97 targets, exceeding 87 targets (89.69%).
In the 2022-2023 school year, the school has recruited 55/42 students, exceeding the enrollment target by 13 (29.55%). To date, 52 candidates have taken the exam and graduated in June 2023, but have not yet been awarded a diploma.
In addition, in the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 school years, Dak Lak Pedagogical College recruited students for teacher upgrading classes without meeting the requirements as prescribed, resulting in 47 students who took the graduation exam in April 2023 but were not awarded a graduation certificate and 30 candidates who were not allowed to take the graduation exam on June 22-23, 2024. In total, 99 students took the graduation exam but were not awarded a certificate in time, affecting the rights of the students...
The inspection conclusion of the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training also pointed out violations of the Dak Lak Pedagogical College related to the management and use of public assets. Accordingly, the Department requested the recovery of 2 collective houses that the school rented to 2 former officials and lecturers of the school. The recovery of a 477 m2 plot of land (at facility 1) that a person previously borrowed to grow vegetables (without a contract) and a 66,670 m2 coffee plot (at facility 1, Mai Thi Luu Street, Buon Ma Thuot City) that was previously contracted to grow coffee with 21 households, has not yet been recovered.
The Department also requested the school to stop and terminate the lease contract for a number of service lease assets without a plan to use public assets for leasing purposes as prescribed. At the same time, it requested Dak Lak Pedagogical College to report the results of overcoming the above shortcomings and limitations before September 30.
