Cao Thang Technical College accepts applications from today

Cao Thang Technical College has just announced its 2025 enrollment plan with 4,500 targets and started accepting applications from today, January 1.

Dr. Le Dinh Kha, Principal of Cao Thang Technical College, said that in 2025 the school will announce its enrollment plan earlier than in 2024 and the time to receive application documents will also be earlier (in 2024 it will be near the end of February).

Accordingly, this year the school will enroll 4,500 students for 18 majors, with 4 admission methods including: considering 3 semesters' transcripts (semesters 1 and 2 of grade 11 and semester 1 of grade 12); direct admission, considering high school graduation exam results and considering the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam.

The school uses a combination of 3 subjects, of which math is compulsory, and the remaining 2 subjects are chosen by candidates from physics, chemistry, literature, English, information technology and technology. In all combinations, math scores are calculated with a coefficient of 2.

In the method of considering academic records (60% of the target), the school starts accepting applications from today, January 1, 2025, because at this time students already have their first semester scores for grade 12. The deadline is May 30. Candidates can register for admission online on the school's website, or submit the application form directly to the school, or submit it by post .

Industry specific indicators

The school accepts applications based on competency assessment test scores (5% of the target) from July 10 and high school graduation exam results (20% of the target) from July 30.

In the direct admission method, the school reserves 15% of the admission quota. Candidates who meet one of the following four criteria will be considered for direct admission: Have a letter of recommendation from former students, students, or lecturers, or the Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) of Cao Thang Technical College; excellent students in grade 11; excellent students in semester 1 of grade 12; people who have graduated from college or university.

"In 2025, in addition to the female technical student scholarship, the Cao Thang alumni scholarship and the business scholarship, the school will have additional study encouragement scholarships for candidates. Accordingly, candidates with a total score of 3 subjects (excluding priority points) from 27 points will receive a 50% reduction in tuition fees, from 25.5 points will receive a 25% reduction in tuition fees and from 24 points will receive a 10% reduction in tuition fees", Dr. Le Dinh Kha added.
