College signs cooperation agreement with businesses at opening ceremony

On October 19, Sonadezi College of Technology and Management (Dong Nai) held the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year with the participation of Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Son Hung and Deputy General Director of IGC Education Group, Mr. Pham Dien Trung, along with more than 28 enterprises in Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Ho Chi Minh City.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the new school year, Dr. Nguyen Tien Manh, Principal of the school, said that in the 2024-2025 school year, Sonadezi College of Technology and Management will enroll nearly 1,600 new students.

The school principal sent congratulations to nearly 1,600 new students for the 2024-2025 school year; at the same time, he hoped that the new students would be proactive in their studies and strive to reach their goals with good results in their studies.

Dr. Nguyen Tien Manh added that in the 2024-2025 school year, the school will continue to focus on innovating management in training activities; focusing on developing staff and lecturers; investing in facilities; building a cultural learning environment; strengthening cooperation and training links; improving the quality and efficiency of all activities.

Practice practical professional skills at the enterprise

Also at the opening ceremony, the school signed cooperation agreements with 6 enterprises. Accordingly, the enterprises will accompany the school in training high-quality, skilled human resources, helping students not to be surprised after graduation, meeting the increasingly high recruitment requirements of enterprises.

This is a program that the school has implemented for the past 19 years, aiming to train students not only to learn knowledge at school but also to practice practical professional skills at enterprises.

In addition, over the past 2 years, the school has also cooperated with units to send students to participate in graduation internships abroad. Specifically, up to now, 18 students majoring in hotel management, Japanese interpretation, and business economics have interned at companies in Japan.

On this occasion, the school awarded and presented scholarships to nearly 200 students with high academic achievements in the 2023-2024 school year; entrance scholarships and scholarships for students with difficult circumstances who have excelled in their studies with a total value of 882 million VND.
