On the afternoon of September 4, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department - visited and presented scholarships to disadvantaged students studying at Nguyen Thi Tot Primary School (Go Cong Tay district, Tien Giang province).
Here, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia awarded 50 scholarships (each worth 1 million VND) to 50 students in difficult circumstances.
Speaking at the scholarship award ceremony, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized that our Party and State always identify education as the top national policy and constantly innovate comprehensively, focusing on investing in increasingly better education and training.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia expressed his hope that the teachers of Nguyen Thi Tot Primary School will continue to promote the positive results they have achieved, fulfill the requirements of the education sector and prepare for the opening of the new school year. At the same time, the school's teaching staff will constantly improve their qualifications and skills. If they are good, they need to be even better, meeting the requirements of the education sector in terms of both moral qualities and professional work, especially maintaining a good relationship between school - family - society to ensure that the children have an absolutely safe educational environment, preserving the cultural and ethical values of "Learning manners first, then learning literature".
For the students, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia hopes that they will continue to be obedient, healthy, study well, listen to their grandparents, parents, and teachers, be good children and good students, and be good grandchildren of beloved Uncle Ho.
