The delegation had a working session at the Vietnam National Tourism Administration - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Working with the delegation was comrade Nguyen Trung Khanh - Director of the National Tourism Administration.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Department highly agreed to support Nghe An province through the focal agency, the Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, to implement key tourism promotion programs of the province in 2024. These are programs such as: Sen Culinary Tourism Festival on the occasion of Uncle Ho's birthday, May 19; building a digital map of Nghe An tourism; roadshow program to promote Nghe An tourism abroad; research to include Nghe An in the famtrip/presstrip tour program built by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, linking to promote information on platforms...

Director Nguyen Trung Khanh said that Nghe An province needs to step up promotion and investment attraction to develop tourism commensurate with its potential.

The delegation had working sessions with the Department of Enterprise Development and the Department of Foreign Investment - Ministry of Planning and Investment. At the meetings, leaders of units under the Ministry of Planning and Investment highly appreciated the efforts of Nghe An province in improving the investment and business environment, raising the Provincial Competitiveness Index, especially making Nghe An a bright spot in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) with the achievement of ranking 6th out of 63 provinces and cities by the end of September 2023.

The delegation also worked and exchanged experiences with the Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion. With the desire to reach a cooperation agreement between the two localities, the two units agreed to implement the Program of connecting, linking, promoting investment, promoting trade and tourism in Hanoi - Nghe An in 2023 in Vinh city in conjunction with the Caravan Journey of Gratitude to Comrades, towards Uncle Ho. This event will take place from October 26 to 29, 2023. In addition, Nghe An Product Week will be held in Hanoi 2023.
