Lotte Mall West Lake Hanoi commercial complex officially opened this morning, September 22, after nearly 2 months of trial operation.
Attending the event were Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh; Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Vietnam Choi Youngsam; Chairman of Lotte Group Shin Dong-bin and representatives of central ministries, departments, agencies and Hanoi city.
At the opening ceremony, Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh emphasized that the Lotte Mall Tay Ho Complex is a symbol of friendship and effective cooperation between Vietnam and Korea, and between the two capitals of Hanoi and Seoul.

Mr. Tran Sy Thanh affirmed that the city will create all favorable conditions for Lotte Group in the process of exploiting and operating Lotte Mall and other business investment projects of the Group in the area, and at the same time hopes that the Group will continue to research and expand investment areas in Hanoi.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee proposed that Lotte Group operate Lotte Mall to become a highlight of Hanoi, meeting the needs of the capital's residents and foreigners coming to do business and live in Hanoi.
On the Lotte Group side, Chairman of Lotte Group Korea Shin Dong-bin hopes that the Lotte Mall Tay Ho commercial complex will become a symbolic project in Vietnam, a place to promote Korean shopping culture to Vietnamese people and tourists visiting Vietnam.

Lotte Mall West Lake Hanoi (Lotte Mall Tay Ho) is a key project of Lotte Group in Vietnam with a total investment of more than 643 million USD. The project started construction in 2020 at 272 Vo Chi Cong, Tay Ho District, Hanoi with a total floor area of 354,000 m2. This is a multi-utility commercial complex including a shopping mall, 5-star hotel, high-class serviced apartments and class A offices. Of which, the shopping mall is among the largest in Vietnam.
