Representatives of 6 universities signed an agreement to jointly organize and use the results of the computer-based university entrance exam for enrollment on February 26.
Today (February 26), the National Center for Testing and Education Quality Assessment (under the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training) and 6 universities signed a cooperation agreement on jointly organizing the computer-based university entrance exam for enrollment in 2024 (abbreviated as V-SAT).
The schools participating in the signing include: Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon University, University of Finance and Marketing, Can Tho University, Thai Nguyen University and Banking Academy.
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung, Principal of Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City, said that according to the signed agreement, universities are responsible for organizing the V-SAT exam at their units with many exam sessions during the year; developing a plan to use the general results of the exam for university admission; performing tasks and responsibilities according to the contract signed with the center in coordinating the organization of each exam session.
The National Testing Center and Education Quality Assessment is responsible for providing a question bank and exam organization software to ensure the objectives of the exam; coordinating and supporting universities in organizing exam sessions; developing reports analyzing exam results and providing them to universities; performing tasks and responsibilities according to the contract signed with schools in coordinating the organization of each exam session.
Schools that organize the V-SAT exam are autonomous in using the exam results for university admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; priority is given to recognizing and sharing the results of V-SAT exams organized by other units.
The signatory units are jointly responsible for providing candidate information, exam results and supporting the verification of candidate exam results for the purpose of university admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. At the same time, the parties are responsible for keeping candidate information confidential according to regulations.
Today (February 26), Ho Chi Minh City Banking University officially opened the portal for candidates to register for the first round of exams, which will take place on March 30 and 31.
Last year, two universities held the V-SAT exam: Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City and Saigon University. The results of this exam will be used to select a portion of the school's enrollment quota in 2023.
