Exhibition "60 years of echoes of the first victory"

On the afternoon of July 23, in Hanoi, the Air Defense - Air Force opened the exhibition "60 years of echoes of the first victory".

The exhibition, organized by the Air Defense - Air Force Museum in collaboration with the Navy Museum and Quang Ninh Museum, displays more than 300 valuable documents and artifacts divided into 5 parts: Ready for battle in the air and at sea; the Gulf of Tonkin incident and the "Piercing Arrow" operation; the historic battle on August 5, 1964; the significance and spread of the victory; raising vigilance and being ready to fight to protect the Fatherland's sky.

The content of the exhibition affirms that the victory of the first battle left many valuable lessons, which are the basis for generations of cadres and soldiers to study and creatively apply in new circumstances; to heighten the spirit of revolutionary vigilance, to be constantly ready to fight and fight to victory, not to be surprised or miss opportunities.

The exhibition “60 years of echoes of the first victory” attracted the attention of many cadres, soldiers and people to visit to understand more deeply about the plot of the US imperialists to expand the destructive war to the North, our proactive readiness to respond and the excellent first victory of the army and people of the North, the significance and strong influence of this victory, contributing to the overall victory of the whole nation.
