The Elderly Association of Binh Hung Hoa B Ward has implemented many practical and meaningful activities, affirming its important role in caring for the material and spiritual life and promoting the role of the elderly in family and society.

The officials and members of the Elderly Association of Binh Hung Hoa B Ward always maintain their ideological stance, trust in the leadership of the Party and the policies and laws of the State. In addition, the Association actively propagates and mobilizes families and children to carry out environmental protection movements, maintain order and security in residential areas, and join hands to build a green - clean - beautiful living environment.

The Association also focuses on raising awareness among members through research, study and implementation of Resolution No. 42-NQ/TW dated November 24, 2023 on social policy innovation, in line with the cause of national construction and protection in the new period. At the same time, it promotes propaganda and dissemination of the Law on the Elderly and the Charter of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly to members and local people.

Up to now, the Elderly Association of Binh Hung Hoa B Ward has achieved 100% of its members complying well with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and local regulations. Members have also actively implemented the emulation movement "Exemplary grandparents and parents, filial children and grandchildren", contributing to building a harmonious and happy family.

In order to ensure that members, especially those in difficult circumstances, have a warm Tet, the Board of Representatives of the Elderly Association of Binh Tan District, the Party Committee, the People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward and other organizations have organized the presentation of 52 gifts with a total value of 21,800,000 VND. This is an activity demonstrating the spirit of mutual love, contributing to encouraging the elderly to continue to live happily and healthily.

The Association of the Elderly in Binh Hung Hoa B Ward will continue to encourage its cadres and members to promote the spirit of emulation, contributing to the development of the local economy, culture and society. At the same time, it will focus on environmental protection activities, maintaining order and security, and implementing the campaign "Studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh".

In addition, carrying out regular activities, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly (May 10, 1995 - May 10, 2025), the Association will organize meaningful activities to review traditions, affirm the role and contribution of the Association in the development of the locality.

In addition, the Association will focus on preparing the content and organization for the 5th Congress of the Ward Elderly Association, term 2025-2030. This is an important event to perfect the Association's organization and set out development directions in the coming time.

Coordinate with the neighborhood chief to survey and grasp the list of elderly people in the area, thereby mobilizing and developing new members, ensuring good implementation of policies for the elderly according to regulations.

To continue improving the effectiveness of the "Fund for the Care and Promotion of the Role of the Elderly", the Association aims to increase the fund's revenue by 10-15%, ensuring effective fund operations, contributing to better care for members.

In addition to the above activities, the Association will carefully organize longevity celebrations for the elderly, as well as visit and give gifts to members in difficult circumstances, the sick, and organize funerals for deceased members. This is an activity with profound humanitarian meaning, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity within the Association.

Regarding participation in emulation movements, building safe and civilized neighborhoods, the Association will continue to mobilize members to implement the movement "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas", coordinate with mass organizations in community activities. At the same time, the Association will promote propaganda on traffic safety, mobilize the elderly and their children to comply with the Road Traffic Law, contributing to building a healthy traffic culture.

In addition, closely coordinate with local authorities in the movement "All people participate in protecting national security in the new situation", to ensure security and order, build safe neighborhoods, and be free of crime. In order to create conditions for the Elderly Association of Binh Hung Hoa B Ward to operate more effectively, the Association proposes: Continue to receive attention and support from authorities at all levels to organize activities to care for the elderly, have more financial support policies to develop the "Fund for caring for and promoting the role of the elderly", helping the Association carry out more meaningful activities; promote training programs, improve skills for Association officials, to improve the capacity to organize and operate Association activities.

In the first quarter of 2025, the Association of the Elderly in Binh Hung Hoa B Ward implemented many practical activities to improve the lives of the elderly; in the second quarter, the Association continued to carry out important tasks, promoting the role of the elderly, contributing to building an increasingly civilized and prosperous locality.
