On the morning of March 25, many localities in Binh Duong province simultaneously held groundbreaking ceremonies to build houses for poor households facing housing difficulties, including many elderly households.

In response to the program "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide" launched by the Prime Minister , Binh Duong province strives to complete the program "eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" with a total of 455 newly built and repaired houses before June 30, in which each newly built house will receive support of 100 million VND, each repaired house will receive support of 50 million VND.

Attending the groundbreaking ceremony to build a house for Ms. Nguyen Thi Gai's family in Phu Giao district, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Loi emphasized: the program "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" is a policy with profound humane meaning, not only helping poor households, policy families, and households with housing difficulties to have a house, but also creating motivation for the poor to strive to rise up. This is also a clear demonstration of the attention of the Party, the State and the whole society, promoting the tradition of mutual love, joining hands to care for and help those in difficult housing situations "settle down and have a career".
Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Loi suggested that Phu Giao district and other localities, in addition to the State budget, should step up mobilizing organizations, individuals, and philanthropists to join hands and contribute to effectively implementing the movement; strive to complete the program before June 30, contributing to the effective implementation of the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" nationwide.
In Thu Dau Mot City, the provincial delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Van Dong, Secretary of the City Party Committee, inspected and attended the groundbreaking ceremony to remove temporary and dilapidated houses in the area.

The delegation attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the house repair project for Ms. Huynh Thi Kim Anh (Dinh Hoa ward), a monthly social welfare beneficiary, and Mr. Nguyen Van To's family (Tuong Binh Hiep ward), one of the cases with housing difficulties in the area.
In Di An City, attending the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new house for Mr. Tran Van Chau's family (Di An Ward), Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Secretary of the Di An City Party Committee, hoped that organizations, individuals and the community would promote the spirit of "mutual love and support" to join hands to implement the Party's great policy of leaving no one behind.

In Thuan An City, Mr. Nguyen Van Minh, Secretary of the City Party Committee, and the delegation visited and attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of new houses for families with preferential policies, those in difficult circumstances, and poor households in An Thanh Ward.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Minh, Binh Duong has developed a plan to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. In particular, it will support the construction and repair of houses for 33 people with revolutionary contributions, 422 poor people, near-poor people and people in especially difficult circumstances across the province. Thuan An City alone will build 3 new houses and repair 4 houses for 7 policy families and people with meritorious services before April 30, 2025; strive to complete the construction and repair of 47 houses for poor households and households in difficult circumstances before June 30, 2025.
