This morning, July 18, Chairwoman of the Inspection Committee of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee Ho Thi Thu Hang chaired a conference to review the inspection and supervision work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2024.

Perform well the inspection and supervision work
In the first 6 months of 2024, Party committees, Party organizations and Inspection Commissions at all levels in the province have comprehensively implemented inspection, supervision and Party discipline enforcement tasks. Inspection Commissions at all levels have promoted their advisory role to Party committees at the same level in performing inspection and supervision tasks; proactively developed and advised Party committees to promptly develop and implement the 2024 inspection and supervision program.

Some district-level Party committees have strengthened their inspection tasks when there are signs of violations by Party organizations and Party members. Disciplinary action against Party organizations and Party members who violate the law basically ensures compliance with the motto, principles, processes and procedures, contributing to strict maintenance of Party discipline; there are no cases of complaints about Party discipline within the Party Committee.
In the past 6 months, Party committees at all levels have inspected 93 lower-level Party organizations and 202 Party members; Inspection Commissions at all levels have inspected 8 lower-level Party organizations and 19 Party members when there were signs of violations. Through inspection and supervision, Party committees at all levels and Party cells have disciplined 2 Party organizations by reprimand and 162 Party members; Inspection Commissions at all levels have disciplined 1 Party organization and 16 Party members.
In addition to the achieved results, the development and implementation of the 2024 inspection and supervision program by a number of Party committees, Party organizations and Inspection Commissions have not been truly proactive, not close to the actual situation, and the supervision content has not been truly expanded.
The implementation of procedures, operations, and the development of inspection and supervision documents still has limitations and errors. Some specialized agencies and advisory agencies assisting the Party Committee have not promptly implemented the task of specialized inspection and supervision according to the assigned functions and tasks.
Some district and grassroots inspection committees do not regularly monitor the situation, and proactively detecting prominent incidents occurring in the area is still a state of deference and fear of conflict. Some inspection committees do not have a firm grasp of the situation to proactively detect signs of violations or prominent incidents in the locality or unit to promptly advise the Party Committee to focus on leadership and direction for handling. Detection of signs of violations by party organizations and party members through specialized supervision is still rare.
At the conference, delegates discussed and shared some experiences and difficulties in the process of implementing inspection and supervision tasks and proposed solutions to overcome them in the coming time.

To successfully complete the inspection and supervision program, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission Ho Thi Thu Hang requested that in the coming time, the Inspection Commissions at all levels need to continue to disseminate and thoroughly grasp in order to further raise the awareness and responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations and Inspection Commissions at all levels, especially the leaders in leading, directing and organizing the implementation of inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement work, contributing positively to the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system, serving the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.

Review and complete the system of regulations and rules on inspection and supervision work, ensuring compliance with current central regulations and appropriateness to the conditions of each locality and unit. Regularly supervise party organizations and party members, focusing on inspection when there are signs of violations.
Focus on inspecting and supervising areas prone to corruption, negativity, internal disunity, prominent and pressing issues in society that are of public concern, especially violations and degradation in political ideology, lifestyle ethics, "self-evolution, self-transformation", exemplary responsibility, things party members are not allowed to do, violations in specialized fields, and closed activities.
Promote the application of information technology to gradually digitalize stages and tasks in inspection and supervision to improve the efficiency and quality of inspection, supervision and Party discipline enforcement work.
Disseminate the results of inspection, supervision, and disciplinary action, and publicize the decisions and conclusions of the Inspection Committee on mass media as prescribed, contributing to education, deterrence, prevention, and suppression of violations.
