On May 11, in Binh Duong, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department chaired a conference to disseminate and implement four regulations of the 13th Party Central Committee Secretariat related to the fields of journalism and publishing.
The conference was organized by the Central Propaganda Department in coordination with the Ministry of Information and Communications, Vietnam Journalists Association, Vietnam Publishing Association, and Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee.

The conference was also attended by about 500 delegates, including leaders of provincial and municipal Party Committees and a number of affiliated departments and branches; leaders of press management agencies; publishers; leaders of press agencies; publishers in Ho Chi Minh City and 32 localities in the Southern region.
At the conference, the reporters presented the basic and core contents of the four new regulations of the Central Party Secretariat.
These are very important contents, directly related to the daily advisory, direction and implementation work of Party committees, authorities, organizations and unions.

Specifically, Mr. Tran Thanh Lam, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, presented and disseminated Regulations 100-QD/TW and 101-QD/TW dated February 28, 2023 of the Secretariat on responsibilities, powers, and the appointment, dismissal, commendation, and discipline of leaders of press agencies.
Mr. Lam emphasized: "The Regulations contribute to building a team of leaders of press agencies and publishing houses with political courage, professional capacity, expertise and ethical qualities to build a professional, humane and modern press and media industry and to arrange the publishing, printing and distribution industry in a streamlined, quality and modern direction."

Next, Mr. Le Hai Binh, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, disseminated Regulation No. 85-QD/TW, dated October 7, 2022 of the Secretariat on cadres and party members establishing and using personal electronic information pages on the internet and social networks.
Finally, Mr. Vu Thanh Mai, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, thoroughly grasped Regulation No. 99-QD/TW, dated February 27, 2023 of the Secretariat on the flag of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the use of the Party flag.
During the discussion, several units raised many questions related to the four regulations above. Notably, many delegates had questions about the use of the party flag.
In addition, delegates were also interested in the results of handling the "newspaperization" of Magazines, "newspaperization" of General Electronic Information Pages, "newspaperization" of Social Networks and the manifestation of "privatization" of the Press.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, requested units to continue to organize the study, dissemination, and dissemination of the regulations in many appropriate forms to help Party committees, Party organizations, agencies, units, cadres, and Party members clearly understand and properly apply the regulations.
Mr. Nghia emphasized: “It is necessary to clearly define that this is the responsibility of the entire political system, of each cadre and party member. Strengthen the work of inspection, monitoring, guidance and urging the implementation of the above regulations.”

On this occasion, delegates also listened to the draft project to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025). This is a professional political event of great significance to the press nationwide./.
