Implementing the socio -economic development model associated with the program "Accompanying women in the border areas", on the morning of May 25, the Border Guard Command of Ha Tinh province coordinated with Phu Gia Border Guard Station, Ha Tinh Golf Association, Huong Khe District Women's Union and Phu Gia Commune People's Committee (Huong Khe) to organize the donation of 3 breeding cows worth 30 million VND to 3 households in the border area.

The households receiving the gifts include: Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam (a poor, single member), Ms. Ngo Thi Ha (a near-poor household, her husband has a mental illness) - both are Lao ethnic people in Phu Lam village, Phu Gia commune; Ms. Le Thi Phuong (a poor household, often sick) in Truong Son village, Phu Gia commune.

Representatives of the Provincial Border Guard Command, Ha Tinh Golf Association, Huong Khe District Women's Union, and Phu Gia Commune People's Committee presented breeding cows to households.

This donation of breeding cows will contribute to creating livelihoods for households in the border area. Phu Gia Border Guard Station has also sent officers and soldiers to help households build barns and directly instruct households on how to care for breeding cows.

In the coming time, the Ha Tinh Border Guard will coordinate with the Women's Union of border communes to carry out many practical activities, joining hands to help poor people and women in border areas escape poverty and rise up to take control of their lives.
