Providing support for building Union Shelters for union members in difficult circumstances

The Dam Ha District Labor Federation has just visited and presented funding to support the construction of a "Union Shelter" house for Ms. Dong Thi Thanh Giang, a union member with difficult circumstances at the grassroots union of Quang Tan Primary School.

Ms. Giang is a single mother, raising 2 young children to go to school, has no house, currently rents a house, all family expenses depend on her salary.

Faced with Ms. Giang's difficult situation, the Dam Ha District Labor Federation proposed to the Provincial Labor Federation to allocate 30 million VND from the "Union Shelter" Fund to support her family. With the help of her brothers and colleagues, she boldly borrowed more money to build a 100m2 level 4 house with a cost of over 500 million VND.
