Awarding prizes for journalistic works about President Ho Chi Minh

After a period of launching, the first phase (from January 1, 2020 to December 1, 2022) ended, the Award attracted 388 entries in various categories (print, electronic, radio, television, press photos, literature, fine arts, etc.) from nearly 200 groups and individuals who are journalists, reporters, artists, professional and non-professional writers. Through 2 preliminary and final rounds, the Award Council selected 29 outstanding and typical works and promotional activities to award prizes, including 3 A prizes, 5 B prizes, 8 C prizes, 10 Encouragement prizes and 3 equal prizes. At the same time, 10 works and typical promotional activity profiles were selected to submit to the Central Awards.

The works participating in the event are generally of good quality, with rich and diverse topics, expressing the respect and deep affection of artists, journalists, and people from all walks of life for beloved Uncle Ho. Many typical examples of progress and new factors in all areas of social life were discovered, propagated and commended promptly, thereby contributing to raising the awareness of cadres, party members and people about the great significance and value of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.

Create a change in awareness of self-cultivation and training to improve revolutionary moral qualities; fight against individualism, opportunism, pragmatism, and degradation in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and negative social evils.

Typical works include "Learning and following Uncle Ho to become a way of life, a way of thinking, a way of doing" - printed newspaper by author Phuong Loan; "Echoing Uncle Ho's words in the heart" - electronic newspaper by author Thu Thuy; "The noble profession of "growing people" - radio newspaper by author Le Mai Huong; "Happy Independence Day" - prose genre by author Bui Xuan Thanh...

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department launched the second round of the Award for composing and promoting literary, artistic and journalistic works on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" for the period 2022-2025.
