The 2023 “Workers and Occupational Safety and Health” Photo Contest with the theme “Safe working measures and improving working conditions for workers” was held from March 2023 to August 2023. After 7 months of launching, the Organizing Committee received 900 entries including photos and photo collections from workers nationwide.

According to the judges, the entries were presented from many different perspectives, creating richness and diversity in both content and expression. Although the authors were not professionals, each work was carefully invested, had rich content, reflected reality, and met the criteria set by the contest. After 5 rounds of scoring, the Organizing Committee selected 12 quality photos to award prizes.
The contest introduced and conveyed a warning message about the consequences of work-related accidents and occupational diseases affecting the lives and health of workers; and the benefits of occupational safety and health. The images from the contest will become vivid and attractive propaganda materials to introduce good practices from models, initiatives, behaviors, and good actions of businesses and workers. Thereby, contributing to reducing the risk of work-related accidents, illnesses, and occupational diseases at the production site.
Although it was held for the first time, the contest contributed to the propaganda and raising awareness of managers, employers and employees to proactively prevent occupational accidents and diseases at work and actively improve working conditions.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced and awarded 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes and 7 Consolation Prizes.
