The Ministry of Industry and Trade has just issued Decision No. 3746/QD-BCT dated December 31, 2024 on the implementation of Resolution No. 209/NQ-CP dated October 28, 2024 of the Government.
Accordingly, to implement the goals, tasks and solutions in Resolution No. 209/NQ-CP dated October 28, 2024 of the Government on promulgating the Plan to implement Directive No. 31-CT/TW dated March 19, 2024 of the Secretariat of the 13th Party Central Committee on continuing to strengthen the Party's leadership over occupational safety and hygiene in the new situation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued a specific Action Plan as follows:
Disseminate to all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Ministry of Industry and Trade the objectives, tasks and main solutions set out in Resolution No. 209/NQ-CP; perform well the functions of the presiding agency, advising the Government and the Prime Minister on solutions and policies on occupational safety and hygiene.
Specify the contents, tasks and key solutions to effectively implement Resolution No. 209/NQ-CP.
Clearly define the tasks and responsibilities of units to guide, deploy, inspect, supervise and evaluate the implementation results of Directive No. 31-CT/TW dated March 19, 2024 of the Secretariat of the 13th Party Central Committee on continuing to strengthen the Party's leadership over occupational safety and hygiene in the new situation, creating a clear change in the awareness and actions of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in advising, formulating and organizing the implementation of policies and laws in the field of occupational safety and hygiene.
This Decision takes effect from December 31, 2024.
Regarding implementation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade assigns the Department of Industrial Safety Techniques and Environment to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to guide and urge the implementation of this Plan; advise the Ministry of Industry and Trade to conduct a preliminary and final review of the implementation of the Plan and Directive No. 31-CT/TW, report to the Government; promptly report to the leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on arising issues, difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing the Plan.
Relevant units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade are responsible for coordinating with the Department of Industrial Safety Techniques and Environment to ensure the implementation of this plan, paying attention to integrating occupational safety and hygiene contents into the socio-economic development programs and plans of the industry, programs and projects related to the labor sector.
During the implementation process, if any problems, difficulties or obstacles arise, agencies and units need to promptly discuss with the Department of Industrial Safety Techniques and Environment, Ministry of Industry and Trade to resolve and agree on a solution.
