Attending the event were comrade Vi Van Son - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee of Nghe An province.
Here, the delegation of the Nghe An Provincial Ethnic Committee received the attention and cooperation of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Ethnic Committee in directly visiting models of traditional cultural preservation combined with community tourism and eco-tourism of local ethnic minorities; Effective economic development models, such as: Model of cage fish farming combined with eco-tourism on Cua Dat irrigation lake, Thuong Xuan district. Currently, there are 6 households raising fish in cages (a total of 166 cages, of which 100 cages are VietGAP certified) and the output reaches nearly 300 tons/year; revenue is about 75 - 80 million VND/cage, at the same time, households invest in boats to pick up and serve visitors to the sites on the lake (each year there are about 3,000 - 4,000 visitors coming to visit and experience). Thanks to that, jobs have been created for over 80 local workers.
At the same time, share good and creative ways in directing, operating, managing and organizing the implementation of projects and sub-projects under the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021-2025; share experiences in implementing ethnic work and ethnic policies to contribute to local socio-economic development...
Through this experience learning session, officials and civil servants of the Ethnic Minorities Committee of Nghe An province have learned and acquired useful knowledge, contributing to improving their working capacity in advising Party committees and authorities at all levels to effectively implement the National Target Program in the area.
