This morning, July 19, in Vinh Linh district, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province, the Hoa Chia Chia Charity Fund and Nhan Dan Newspaper jointly organized a program to award scholarships and bicycles to students with difficult circumstances who have excelled in their studies. At the program, 110 scholarships, worth 1 million VND each, and 20 bicycles, each worth nearly 2.5 million VND, were awarded to students with special difficulties who have excelled in their studies in 18 communes and towns of Vinh Linh district.
The program's funding is shared by Nhan Dan Newspaper, Dau Tu Newspaper, 315 Health System and Hoa Charity Fund. These are meaningful gifts, contributing to encouraging, motivating and empowering poor and disadvantaged students to strive to excel in their studies.
On this occasion, Vinh Linh district received an additional 100 million VND from the Scholarship for Vietnamese Children; Ho Xa town received 300 million VND from Thien Tam Fund, Viet Seed Fund, and Nhan Dan Newspaper.
